Miele Vacuum Cleaners
What is the Most Powerful Miele Vacuum Cleaner?
The power of any Miele vacuum cleaner comes from the unit’s motor. And all the canisters and upright vacuum cleaners from this brand uses the same motor. The Miele-engineered Vortex motor is designed to provide the highest level of performance and durability.
The use of the efficient 2-fan Vortex design is what separates the Miele vacuum cleaners from cheaper models. This enables the vacuum to generate at least 1/3 more suction for the same amperage rating.
Additionally, the motor makes use of a single-stage compressor design. This boosts the efficiency of the motor’s fan and chamber. Instead of the old 1100 watts, Miele increased the motor’s power to 1200 watts.
To provide durability, Miele used Duroplast, a high-tech material, to construct the vacuum cleaners’ motor housing. This material can resist the effects of vibration and temperature and ultimately reduce the weight of the unit.
To differentiate the ability or power of the different models, it is better to look at the floorheads that go with each unit. The most powerful of these attachments are the power floorheads. These are motor-driven attachments that provide extra agitation to deal with thick carpets that see high-traffic.
