Miele SBB 300-3 Parquet Twister Brush (SBB 300-3 PQ Twister)
The Miele SBB 300-3 Parquet Twister Brush is the perfect tool for hardwood floors and other hard surfaces. It comes as a standard tool with all top-of-the-line, and some mid-range vacuum cleaners from Miele. With a 12” cleaning width and a unique double swivel neck that facilitates extremely low clearance, the SBB 300-3 PQ Twister makes maneuvering around and under the furniture effortless.
Plus, with a combination of natural and polyamide bristles with notches in between, this floor head will glide smoothly picking up dirt, hair, and other debris from your hardwood floor. Made from durable plastic material, this floor head will get the cleaning job done for years to come!
The ease of rotation and the ability to reach and clean tight spots is what makes the SBB 300-3 Parquet Twister Brush a great vacuum cleaner attachment.
This floor head fits older vacuum cleaner models from Miele as well.
Miele SBB 300-3 Parquet Twister Brush Best Price
The SBB 300-3 PQ Twister comes in black color and has a simple design. It is made up of hard durable ABS plastic material and can therefore withstand occasional thuds.
There are no wheels on this floor brush. A mix of polyamide and soft natural bristles glide smoothly and prevent the floors from getting scratched. The notches in the bristles help in sucking most of the dust and pet hair directly into the hose.
The double swivel neck on the Miele SBB 300-3 Parquet Twister Brush rotates a complete 180° (90° either side) and swivels down to approximately 4” so that you clean under cabinets and tables with ease.
Some people may find this feature a bit annoying as the head is not fixed and the brush sometimes pivots as you pull it towards (or push away from) you while cleaning.
The floor head itself is lightweight and you should have no problem using it daily for longer cleaning sessions.
Can the SBB 300-3 Floor Head Be Used on Carpets?
Because of the smooth bristles on the Miele SBB 300-3 Parquet Twister Brush, it is best suited for hard surfaces like tiles, laminate flooring, hardwood, linoleum, etc.
It does not glide smoothly across carpets and hence tends to jump a lot on them. So, you are better off using it on hard surfaces only.
Where to Buy the Miele SBB 300-3 Parquet Twister Brush?
You can buy this vacuum cleaner floorhead at the following online retailers.
Why is the Miele SBB 300-3 Not Working?
When you are using the Miele SBB 300-3 and you notice that it is not picking up anything, it could be because the airway has gotten blocked. You may have accidentally vacuumed a sock or a small toy that is preventing air from flowing.
Simply turn the vacuum cleaner off and detach the brush. Check the part that connects the brush to the handle to see if there is anything stuck. Push it out with a long, flexible object to dislodge it.
If there is nothing blocking the airway, the problem is with the vacuum cleaner itself.
How to Clean Miele SBB 300-3 Parquet Twister Brush?
Depending on the frequency of use, some lint and pet hair does get caught on the edges of the bristles. More so if you have a long-haired pet. But this is normal, and you can easily clean the bristles.
Once you are done cleaning, detach the floor head and vacuum it separately using just the hose.
Replacing Miele SBB 300-3 Parquet Twister Brush
The body of the floor head is made up of hard plastic that is quite durable and will last a long time. But the bristles which come directly in contact with the floor, do wear out over time and need to be replaced.
You will need to contact your local dealer and inquire about replacement bristles.
